These terms are an agreement between you and Loaded Brush Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17133114), registered office Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU ("Loaded Brush", "we", "us"). They cover the Loaded Brush app and website. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Community Guidelines. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use your data.

1. Who can use Loaded Brush

  • You must be 16 or older. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 16, we will close it.
  • One person per account. Keep your login details safe; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
  • You can't use Loaded Brush if we've banned you before, or if UK law stops you.

2. What Loaded Brush is

Loaded Brush helps miniature and model painters manage their paints and share their work. Some features, such as your palette and wishlist, are saved only on your device. Others, such as your profile, posts and comments, are saved to your account and seen by other people.

3. Your content

  • You own what you post. You give Loaded Brush a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and distribute it to run and promote the service, in line with your settings. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep it by law (section 9).
  • You must have the right to post it. Don't post other people's artwork, box art or official product images without permission.
  • Before your posts, comments, images and profile details become public, they are checked by automated safety tools (section 6).

4. Rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you must not post or share:

  • child sexual abuse material, or anything that sexualises or seeks to exploit a child
  • pornography or sexually explicit content
  • content that encourages, promotes or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm or eating disorders
  • threats, harassment, bullying, hate, or content that incites violence
  • illegal content of any kind, including scams, fraud, and the sale of illegal or regulated goods
  • spam, impersonation, or content that falsely claims a link to a brand or manufacturer
  • content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy

These rules apply to everyone, of every age. Painted gore, skulls and daemonic miniatures are part of the hobby and are allowed.

5. Brands and trademarks

Loaded Brush is an independent app. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop, Citadel, Vallejo, The Army Painter, Tamiya or any other manufacturer. Product and brand names are used only to identify products and belong to their owners.

6. How we keep Loaded Brush safe

  • Automated checks. Text and images are checked before they're public, using automated moderation tools, including tools provided by OpenAI. Uploaded images are also checked against databases of known child sexual abuse material. Content may be published, held for review, or blocked.
  • Reports. Anyone can report a post, comment, profile or page. We review reports within 24–48 hours, and child-safety and self-harm reports first. Content with several reports, or a serious report, may be hidden while we review it.
  • Child safety. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation. When we find it, we remove it, permanently ban the account, keep the evidence as the law requires, and report it to the UK National Crime Agency.
  • Blocking. You can block anyone so neither of you sees the other.

7. When you break the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may remove content and:

  1. give you a warning;
  2. stop you posting and commenting for 7 days;
  3. suspend your account for 30 days;
  4. permanently ban you if you break the rules again after a 30-day suspension.

We permanently ban accounts straight away for child sexual abuse material, credible threats of violence, targeted hate, and evading a ban. We tell you what we did and why, unless the law or someone's safety means we can't.

8. Complaints and appeals

  • If you think we got a decision wrong (removing your content, restricting your account, or not acting on your report), email support@mail.loadedbrush.com or raise a ticket in the Help Centre within 30 days of the decision.
  • We'll answer within 10 days.
  • You can also complain to us about how we handle illegal or harmful content, or about our age checks, in the same way.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or by request at [web deletion page – LB-80]. When you do, we delete everything linked to it: your profile, photos, posts, comments, likes, follows, pages you created, and your data in our other systems, within 30 days (backups within a further 30 days). The only exceptions are things the law requires us to keep, which are listed in our Privacy Policy (for example, evidence of child sexual abuse material, and the email address of a banned account to stop ban evasion).

10. Advertising [and Loaded Brush Pro]

Loaded Brush is free and supported by ads shown in the feed. Ads are labelled. Whether ads are personalised depends on your consent choices; if you are under 18, ads are never personalised.

11. Our service

  • We work hard to keep Loaded Brush running and accurate, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Paint data and colour matches are a guide; check the real paint.
  • We may change or stop features. If we make a change that significantly affects you, we'll tell you first.
  • Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
  • Otherwise, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for content posted by other users, or for business losses.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll tell you in the app before the changes take effect, and you'll be asked to accept them to keep using Loaded Brush. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law.
