This page explains how we find and act on content that breaks our Community Guidelines or the law, how you can appeal, and how rights holders can report copyright or trademark problems.
1. How we find problems
- Automated checks before content is public. Posts, comments, images, bios and page details are checked by automated moderation tools. Content may be published, held for a person to review, or blocked. Uploaded images are also checked against databases of known child sexual abuse material.
- Limits on new accounts, such as how often you can post and whether you can share links, to stop spam.
- Your reports. Anyone can report a post, comment, profile or page.
- Notices from rights holders, the police and other organisations.
2. How quickly we act
| Type | Target |
|---|---|
| Child safety, self-harm, threats | Same day; the content is hidden straight away while we review |
| Other reports | Within 24–48 hours |
| Copyright and trademark notices | Within 48 hours of a complete notice |
| Appeals and complaints | Within 10 days |
Content with three or more reports from different people, or one serious report, is hidden while we review it. The person who posted it can still see it.
3. What we do
- Remove the content, or restore it if it doesn't break the rules.
- Apply the enforcement ladder: warning → 7-day posting ban → 30-day suspension → permanent ban after a further violation.
- Ban immediately for child sexual abuse material, credible threats, targeted hate and ban evasion.
- Remove a page, or its moderators, if the page breaks the guidelines or ignores reports.
- Child sexual abuse material is removed, the account is permanently banned, the evidence is kept as the law requires, and it is reported to the UK National Crime Agency.
We tell you when we've acted against your content or account, and why, unless the law or someone's safety means we can't. We tell reporters that we've reviewed their report, without details.
4. Appeals and complaints
You can appeal or complain if:
- we removed your content or restricted your account and you think we were wrong;
- you reported something and we didn't act;
- you were wrongly blocked by our age check;
- you want to complain about how we handle illegal or harmful content.
How: email support@mail.loadedbrush.com or raise a Help Centre ticket within 30 days of the decision. Tell us which content or account it's about and why you think we got it wrong. A different review from the first decision is made where possible. We'll reply within 10 days. We may close repeated complaints about the same decision that raise nothing new.
5. Copyright and trademark notices
If you think content on Loaded Brush infringes your copyright or trademark, send a notice to support@mail.loadedbrush.com (or choose Intellectual property in the Help Centre) with:
- the work or trademark you own and evidence you own it;
- a link to, or description of, the content;
- your name and contact details;
- a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised, and that your notice is accurate.
We'll remove or disable the content within 48 hours of a complete notice and tell the person who posted it.
Counter-notice. If your content was removed after a notice and you believe that was a mistake (for example, it's your own photo of a model you painted), reply within 30 days with why. We'll decide within 10 days. We may restore content unless the rights holder tells us they've started legal action.
Repeat infringement goes through the same enforcement ladder.
6. Requests from police and authorities
We respond to valid legal requests. We share only what the request requires, and tell you when we can unless the law or someone's safety prevents it.
7. Records
We keep records of moderation actions, reports and appeals for the periods in our Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
We'll tell you in the app before significant changes take effect.
